LIFE Remine Water participated in the sixth edition of the EcoSTP 2023 Congress with a poster presented by Alejandro Vilar, project manager of this European project. This was a magnificent opportunity to publicize this initiative that seeks to improve and minimize wastewater discharges from mining and contribute to the circular economy by reusing most of the water discharged.
Discussing the latest technologies for a sustainable transition in wastewater treatment and reuse was the purpose of this new edition of the EcoSTP international congress. A theme that fits perfectly with the objective pursued by LIFE Remine Water.
For this reason, Alejandro Vilar was one of the 220 speakers who participated in this congress with a poster-type presentation. It reflected the project purpose, the methodology and the expected results to minimize wastewater discharges from mining and contribute to the circular economy by recovering valuable substances found in wastewater.
Thus, LIFE Remine Water contributed with its participation to value wastewater in the current context of drought and climate change, an aim pursued by this congress that brought together researchers, technology providers, engineering consulting companies and utility companies.
