LIFE Remine Water has recently hold its two main annual meetings. On the one hand, the project partners met for the Executive Board meeting, which was held online. At this meeting, the partners gathered to discuss different issues related to the development of the project and prepared the Monitoring Meeting.
A few days later, the LIFE Remine Water Monitoring Meeting was held online as well. During this encounter, the project partners explained their advances within the project and how they face the upcoming stages to a representative of the Neemo Team, on behalf of the LIFE Programme and, therefore, the European Commission. No major issues were detected, except the need of delaying some actions due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.
The upcoming months will be of decisive importance in compiling the pilot site. Therefore, all the consortium will put a lot of effort to prepare the start of the pilot in Huelva, coordinated by Cetaqua, with the collaboration of MATSA, the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals and NewHeat.
